In honor of Welcoming Week, join the City of Urbana’s Arts and Culture Program and Market at the Square for another Art at the Market!
From 8:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. make your own butterfly screenprints and crafts celebrating migration in honor of Immigrant Welcoming Week.
From 9:30am-11:30am, enjoy a performance from the Afro-Carribbean Jazz Collective, bringing tunes that will make you want to dance!
All these events are free, open to all ages, and require no registration to participate. The workshop and performance will be held on Walnut Street near the City of Urbana tent at the northwest entrance to the Market at the Square, located in historic downtown Urbana on Illinois and Vine.
Sprouts’ theme is “Play with Food” encouraging sensory play as a fun and no-pressure opportunity for kids to engage with their curiosity about food.
Sprouts is open to kids ages 3 – 8 years old, and is a FREE event.
