In honor of National Farmer’s Market Week, join the City of Urbana’s Arts and Culture Program and Market at the Square for another Art at the Market!
From 8:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. make your own veggie stencils with The Common Mind! The Common Mind is a group of artists (spanning a vast range of mediums) coming together to make art live in our communities.
From 9:30am-11:30am, enjoy a performance from Jean Rene Balekita and Bomoyi performing Congolese Rumba and Gospel music.
All these events are free, open to all ages, and require no registration to participate. The workshop and performance will be held on Walnut Street near the City of Urbana tent at the northwest entrance to the Market at the Square, located in historic downtown Urbana on Illinois and Vine.
The City offers art programming during Urbana’s Market at the Square season. Workshops and performances will take place every second Saturday of the month at Urbana’s Market at the Square!
