Our final Chef Demo of the market season will feature Janie Maxwell, Executive Director of the Illinois Farmers Market Association.
Janie is passionate about expanding local foods and farmers’ markets. As a Registered Dietitian she believes strongly in the health value of local food and advocates for local food by building systems that highlight the economic and health value of markets to communities, communities and farmers.
Janie is a longtime farmers market advocate and customer. She is an avid cook and can be found at a farmers market somewhere, every week.
